Jehovah Has Heard The Cry, Part 2

What does today’s video post and the new Pope Francis have in common?  Is it God’s News of Global Change?

To report God’s News of Global Change, we have to report the obvious in the pattern of mankind as well as the prophetic pattern of God’s reply.  Man’s natural ways are to dominate with oppression while God’s ways are to liberate with freedom.

It’s an ageless battle of good and evil: a Babylon system threatens and takes control of a world at the expense of the just.  The dynamics of these tenets have reached polarizing climax in the past, notably in ancient Egypt when God heard the cry of His people and was moved to deliver them out of oppression into freedom.

Not in recorded history has such great thing – great event – occurred again, to take a nation out of the midst of another nation with great signs and wonders and wealth.  Yet, as God’s covenant with Abraham foretold the first deliverance, the prophet Haggai records God’s promise it will happen again on a global scale; He will shake all nations.  Like the glory of Egypt came to the Children of Israel in the Exodus, the glory of all nations will come to the later house – the Body of Christ.

The word of God to Abraham is that his seed would go into captivity and serve another nation [another master] for four hundred years; after which He [God] would bring them out with great substance.  Interesting that in recent recorded history the seeds of today’s world economic system also started about 400 years ago: the modern-day banking system, the global financial network, the rising from the ashes a modern-day Babylonian system now covering the globe increasing debt oppressing the masses and the just.

Is this coincidence or is it a prophetic pattern?  Who would be today’s task masters?  What are their methods and more importantly has God heard the cry once again?  Time and again in our reporting, we’ve investigated the news of Scripture aligned with today’s current events.  We’ve highlighted the development of economic oppression, the pride and defiance of today’s global elite, banking cartels, governments and even so-called a military industrial complex . . . sort of Pharoah’s Army, so to speak. Yet it hides in plain sight.

Of my favorite quotes is that of a father of today’s economic systems, Nathan Rothschild and modern banking family protegé, John Sherman: “Let me control a nation’s money, and I care not who makes the laws,” and, “The few who understand the system, will either be so interested in its profits, or so dependent on its favors that there will be no opposition from that class, while on the other hand, the great body of the people mentally incapable of comprehending the tremendous advantage that capital derives from the system, will bear its burdens without complaint, and perhaps even suspecting that the system is inimical to their interests.”   Could we say a system, a pattern, after the ancient Egyptian reign of glory?

But is it mere speculation?  Is it mere suspicion, radical report of journalism by have-nots in rebellion or castigation of those who have?  But the bigger questions remain, is this the pattern spoken of in the Scriptures?  Are we now engaged in a second great battle of Babylonian dynamics competing through the ages for power in the earth?  Are the masses today “unsuspecting that the system is inimical to their interests?” Is today’s growing global economic malaise just a cycle of economic development or is it that of prophetic anomaly:  something that deviates from what is standard, normal, or expected?

Is it part of the economic fulfillment of the last days? Has Jehovah heard the cry of this later day pattern? Is a second great event about to happen or is it simply the growing noise of prophetic criers and conservative religious charismatic radicals at the behest of delusional urgency?

There is certainly a growing dynamic of news and prophetic revelation coming from the camps of charismatic evangelicals and outspoken eschatologists. But interestingly, in a portion of a transcript of an interview between Chris Mathews, MSNBC American Journalist asking then Cardinal Bergolio, if he would be elected the Pope; we report to wit:

Mathews: “Will you be the next Pope?”

Cardinal Bergolio: “I believe I’m too embroiled in the secular fiasco. It is a spiritual job, and I’m a soldier. Look at the nature of power.  In Europe first and now in America, elected men have taken it upon themselves to indebt their people to create an atmosphere of dependency.  And why? For their own selfish need to increase their own personal power.  I’ve been a keen observer of the effect this has on the people, especially the poor.  They are very good at creating poverty where there is no reason to explain it. My job is try to alleviate poverty and if that means to oppose the cause then I will not be Pope.”

Now, since the election of Cardinal Bergolio to the office as the new Pope Francis, we will see how the clash of tenets play out! There is great speculation in the hallways of global news. But, you can be assured we will monitor the temperature to do our part reporting God’s News of Global Change.
