Plan for Prosperity

By

I always had my own plan for prosperity! Over time, I’ve enrolled into a number of continuing education courses to compliment my formal business education. For over thirty years I’ve enrolled in extra curriculum, professional associations, investment newsletter subscriptions and other select subjects of interest relative to my need to know.  And today, relative to economic trends, the internet hosts countless resources for business and work at home opportunities: everything from healthcare and nutrition to savings and retirement opinions.

For the most part my subscriptions served me well. And those same topics attract the greatest search traffic on search engines today. But, what if the wealth of the world is changing hands today . . . no matter what strategies I search for?

I guess you could say I’m fairly traditional . . . or so I used to be.  But, nothing has captivated my interests more than a personal revelation received back in 2004. Having been a follower of Jesus Christ and an active member of several local churches for nearly thirty years, I naturally accepted the general truths of Scripture: “someday” Christ would return for His family.  However, until then I wasn’t going to waste my time giving it much thought . . . albeit, I’m not in control and I needed to “occupy until He returns,” if that would ever occur during my lifetime – right?  So, my Christian life was spent focusing on the traditional pursuits of life, liberty, interpretation and my own disregard.

I spent considerable time pursuing my career choices and developing business interests, living a good life, planning my next vacation, working on my social agenda and piecing together the puzzle of single part time parenting.  So, any serious thought of God’s orchestration was more than I could hope to understand and therefore did not spend too much time dwelling on fantasies or prophetic extremes.  But, what happened next shaped a greater destiny . . .

In 2004 I was guided by the Holy Spirit [a subject for a later post] to move out of my comfort zone and really explore living by the Spirit.  I didn’t realize, I must confess, how polarizing that obedience has become; even to the extent of alienating traditional Christian friends and teachings.  Moved by some unfamiliar inspiration, I began to focus on the correlation between today’s headline news and real prophetic developments.

I began to understand the God’s revelation is progressive. In other words, revelation in the word of God is often reserved until the fulness of time for particular revelation. You know what I mean.  Although it [the specific revelation] has always been in the written word, it just doesn’t make logical sense . . . that is until time, events and the Holy Spirit reveal the significance.

And, throughout biblical history most who through obedience, speak of the revelation, risk traditional teaching to resist the progression. Example: the greatest manifestations of biblical prophecy are unfolding today unlike any period in history!

Nevertheless, my study soon led me to a stark realism – most of today’s church does not [or maybe cannot] [or maybe refuses to] subscribe to a serious consideration of an interruption of their lives today with end time realities!

Sure, we accept the traditional teachings of hope!  But I challenge most in the church dare to accept any end-time fulfillments could occur to interrupt our life today . . . as if God is suppose to  grant special leniencies for our interpretation?

At the risk of sounding fanatical, I also understand the great defense: “no one knows the day nor the hour – the Lord shall come as a thief in the night – or the parable of the foolish virgins!” Certainly the world, and most of the church, I believe, is sadly unprepared!  And certainly the world, if not most of the church, would consider an end-time wealth transfer [prosperity phenomenon] by God to be anything more than traditional teachings of heresy?

Yet, as any progressive revelation in the fulness of time, the cry is gathering a greater audience.  Still considered extreme by the main stream church; one might ponder God’s reasons for such a transfer to His family.  I’m convinced it’s NOT wealth for wealth’s sake.  The world represents the obvious seductions of wealth and the corruptions of wealth.

Why then would God want to risk the transfer of the world’s wealth to His family?  Is not the flesh yet weak?  And would not even the faithful corrupt themselves?  I believe they would . . . with few exceptions!  I believe it would take an unparalleled anointing upon the Believer.  So why would [or could] it be so? Let us consider some purpose:

  • The wealth of the world belongs to God [Psalms 24].
  • It is for His purposes [Deuteronomy 8:18]
  • He has transferred it away from the world before [Exodus 3:21]
  • It is to be used as a witness to Him [Isaiah 23:18]
  • Is the great work of the end-time harvest at hand?
  • Anointing [discipline] would be enlarged [Act 2:17
  • The time would be short . . .

Now, the purpose of this post is neither to lead nor mislead your own resolutions.  All I can say is since I have been tracking and charting, the voice of God has emerged more definitely through remnants of the global church to reveal global developments.

In the past eight years, mockery, deceit, government betrayal against its citizens; and all manner of evil has escalated beyond imagination.  Unimaginable sinister developments have manifested both nationally and globally with little sign of relief.  Certainly the verses of Matthew 24 are portrayed in today’s culture: And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another . . . 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”  Think of a government on earth where the hearts of men have not waxed cold . . .

While there is stark global news of governments in faraway lands reported to plot against their citizens, it is growing in every country of influence!  Citizen interests are expendable for the interests of the state.  And individual liberties are abused for the interests of government revenues, special interests and elite control.

It seems reasonable to assume the only way to cut off the head of the snake is to take away their resources – their wealth – but for a limited time.  When the great end-time harvest work is finished and the rapture of the harvest [the church] is fulfilled the world would be left to ravage the wealth again and require all to wear the mark of the beast before anything is bought or sold.

If you listen carefully and investigate thoroughly, the revelations of phenomenal events to come are slowly becoming accepted . . . even into the main stream church!

This was well done. Soft-sell, for those who are still on the fringe of the idea. Hopefully they will be ‘comfortable’ enough to look further into the word for their direction.
